Filters in ventilation systems play a crucial role in maintaining the air quality in your home. The various labels on filters, such as G3, G4, F7, F8, F9, indicate their efficiency in removing particles of different sizes, including dust, pollen, and even viruses.
Kaj pomenijo oznake na filtrih?
G3 filter in G4 filter
These are basic filters designed to capture larger particles such as dust, insects, hair, and pollen. They are effective at removing particles ranging in size from 3 to 10 µm. In practice, this means they will capture most of the dust generated by activities in the home, such as cooking or cleaning.
G3 filters are typically used in residential areas, while G4 filters are used in more polluted industrial environments.
F7 filter, F8 filter in F9 filter
These are more advanced filters that can capture smaller particles, such as PM2.5 particles. PM2.5 (particulate matter) particles are smaller than 2.5 µm and include things like fine dust, bacteria, smoke, and even some viruses.
F7 filters remove up to 70% of particles larger than 0.3 micrometers, take up little space, and are the most popular choice among manufacturers of central ventilation units, as they don’t affect airflow. F8 and F9 filters provide an even higher level of filtration but significantly impact pressure and, consequently, the airflow through the filter.
Filtri v prezračevalnih sistemih Blauberg in Vents
Our Blauberg and Vents central ventilation systems include filtration for both small and large particles. Most central ventilation units are equipped with G4 and F7 filters.
Local ventilation units or local heat recovery units from Blauberg and Vents come with G3 filtration. Additionally, you can choose to purchase an Filter F7 for decentralized ventilation systems, which we especially recommend to customers who have allergies to dust or pollen or have respiratory health issues.
Vzdrževanje prezračevalnega sistema
It is important to regularly maintain, clean, and replace ventilation filters, as they become saturated with particles over time. Blauberg and Vents manufacturers recommend changing the filters every 6 to 12 months, depending on the room's usage and the quality of the outside air.
